Why does my dog need a supplement made specifically for seniors?
Just like in people, a dog's metabolism changes as it gets older. From around 7 years (depending on the breed), the joints can become stiffer and digestion less efficient. Our supplements are dosed with active ingredients that support these specific age-related issues, without burdening the body with unnecessary additives.
How soon can I expect results in my dog?
Every body is unique, but on average most owners notice a positive difference in vitality, stools or mobility within 2 to 4 weeks. Consistency is key for the best result: give the supplement every day as part of the routine.
Are Florian & Co. supplements safe to use alongside medication from the vet?
Our supplements are made with natural, high-quality ingredients. Although they are very safe, at Florian & Co. we always recommend checking with your vet first if your dog is already on a specific medical treatment plan. Your dog's safety and health always come first for us.
What if my dog is a picky eater?
We know that seniors can become a little pickier. That is why at Florian & Co. we deliberately chose a fish base. Unlike common proteins such as beef, lamb or chicken, fish is naturally hypoallergenic and has a stronger aroma.
Of course taste remains personal. Just as one person loves pizza and another prefers steak, every dog has its own preferences. But with our fish-based soft chew we offer a taste that even the most critical gourmet usually can't resist.

- The "snack trick": Hide the chew in a small piece of their favourite healthy snack.
- Aroma boost: Briefly rub the chew between your warm hands; the natural fish aromas are released even more strongly, which stimulates the appetite.
Do the supplements contain grains or added sugars?
No. We believe in pure support. The Florian & Co. range is completely grain-free and contains no added sugars, artificial colours or flavourings. This is crucial for older dogs, which often react more sensitively to fillers and allergens.
Are Florian & Co. supplements also suitable for my dog if it is younger than 7?
Yes, they are. Although our formulas were developed specifically with the needs of seniors in mind, they are safe and effective for dogs of almost any age. Our ingredients support vital processes, such as healthy digestion and supple joints, that matter for every adult dog. You can therefore also use the supplements preventively to give your dog extra support from a young age and keep them vital and fit for as long as possible.
Please note that our supplements are not suitable for puppies younger than 4 months. As with any addition to the diet: does your dog have specific medical needs, or are you unsure about the dosage for a younger dog? Then we always recommend checking with your vet.
